  • How old do you have to be to joint the explorers? - In order to apply you must be at least 14 and cannot be older then 20.
  • Do I have to attend every event? - We do ask that members dedicate as much time as possible, we do not require that you attend every meeting. 
  • Do you have to go into law enforcement after this program? - While the explorers are meant to encourage and inform kids about a field in law enforcement, you do not have to go into a career in law enforcement. 
  • Do I have to live in Edison to be a member of post 215? - No, we do not require that you live in Edison.
  • What is exploring? - Exploring is a opportunity for kids to learn about law enforcement, it is normally referred to the ROTC of law enforcement. www.exploring.org/law-enforcement/ 
  • Are there opportunities to rank up in post 215? - Yes, we have ranks from Explorer Officer to Explorer Captain which all have their own set of responsibilities.
